Unique Guest Experiences

After a busy day of negotiations or briefings, when you reach that point and you really need something different to do, then take them sailing!! We can provide a totally different activity that will be appreciated. Your guests can enjoy two or more hours sailing around Geographe Bay onboard Samsara, our luxurious cruising yacht.

Everybody onboard can relax and enjoy views of Busselton from the sea, or they can try sailing. There is plenty of space on board so guests do not feel crowded in which creates a good opportunity for conversations to flow in an easy and relaxed manner.

A four hour cruise costs $995 and you would need to allow 15 minutes pre and post cruise. If you have more time available, why not book a full 8 hour day cruise at $1995 and enjoy lunch onboard from our catering menu and a swim by the beach. Team Building

To keep an ocean going yacht running efficiently you need to be able to read the environment, communicate well, and work as a team that is capable of rapid decisions and flexible thinking.

We can custom design a corporate experience that takes participants through a series of challenges that emphasise the importance of communication, teamwork and cooperation. Qualified instructors will coordinate the program and this can be combined with onshore briefings. The program will help to build leadership in your team, and contribute to an espirit de corps that emerges from groups who have been challenged and have succeeded.

Prices start from $550 per person for a full day for up to 6 participants (minimum of 4).

If you are looking for a sailing school in WA (either to learn how to sail or improve existing skills) I would highly recommend Oceanwest Charters from Geographe Bay. 

Gary's yacht is exceptional, near new and extremely comfy. I've been sailing the Mediterranean in the past years and spent weeks in a variety of sailing yachts but Gary's custom specked Beneteau Oceanis 41 beats them all. 

Marina in Geographe Bay is great with clean ablution block.

Food was delicious

If you're lucky having some strong winds you'll have some fun - not for the faint-hearted though 🙂

After such a great experience I have gladly booked another week in April this year to further build my sailing skills as there's a lot to learn from Gary.
